airline cycle policies
Some information on the various airline cycle policies. It's always wise to give them a call before you book though - just to make sure they've not changed any rules!
Easyjet
Easyjet charge £15 to carry any cycle - the weight DOES count towards your 32kg baggage allowance, and some people have found themselves facing hefty bills for goving over the weight limit.
Full policy:

BA and Swiss
BA and Swiss currently allow cycles to be carried on board. The one warning with these airlines is that the weight DOES count towards your 20kg baggage allowance. This means that you may be charged for excess baggage - although it is entirely dependant on the check in staff.

Alternatively, you can always drive out here, it's only 7 hours from Calais, and works out cheaper if there's a few of you.
